The image above depicts two colors, blue for unclear, and black for certainty. There is a dividing line that has taken place in the spirit realm. It is the fulfillment of the above referenced scripture. (Matthew 10:34) says, “ Do not think that I have come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. and a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.”
Wow, just think about this for a minute! Your enemies are your family. This is where the dividing line comes into play. The blue color represents the family who has not sold out to the kingdom of God and operate under a cloud or covering of spiritual- lethargy. The blue also means they have not been born again.
On the other hand, the black represents the certainty of the believer. Their salvation and position is for certain. So, with these things being made known, just because individuals may be related to you by blood, and you may consider them family, doesn’t mean they are for you. If they haven’t been born again they are against you. They are not only against you but are enemies of the faith.
More importantly, in the gospel of (Luke 12:52) it goes on to say ” From henceforth, there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.” The reason for the division is because light has no fellowship with darkness.
Too many Christians have quarrels with members of their families because they don’t understand “The Dividing Line”. We are commanded to love everyone, but just because we must love them doesn’t mean that we are to tolerate the (ill-will) and be at war with them. In fact, the dividing line forces you to distance yourself from them. The bible tells the believer to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness(Ephesians 5:11).”
I know, it’s a hard pill to swallow but the battle is real. It’s nothing personal against you but the spirit of the devil that operates in them hates the spirit of God that lives in you!
Furthermore, if you are to obey the dividing line, this same principle applies to your friends, and co-workers. You are to love them, but have no fellowship with them . In doing this, it will keep your heart pure, keep you out of strife, and it will protect you. There are way too many Christians today dying at the hands of family members who were under demonic influence. (2 Corinthians 6:17) tells us to “come out from among them and be separate says the Lord; touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you.”
Therefore, continue to pray for your unsaved loved ones that they will be born again believers also. However, in the mean time, you must put these relationships in your life in perspective, because its your welfare, and protection at stake!
