A Witch -vs- A Prayer Warrior

”  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)……. With this fact being in place, you should understand that our fight is not in the natural realm as most suppose, but in the spirit realm. There are demon spirits that  constantly oppress us, chase us, and try to hinder us in our daily lives, and keep us from walking in the spirit.  Often times, the Holy spirit will show us people that the enemy is using as well as the plans, plots and schemes they have, but in knowing these things, what most Christians do is watch , at times pray, a prayer of supplication instead of engaging in warfare and sending the demons to flight.

Furthermore, the definition of a witch -is a woman that is thought to have supernatural powers, is evil, and usually practices Sorcery, Divination, Black Magic, Witchcraft, Voodoo, Wicca, seance’s, Palm reading,  Horoscopes, Fortune-telling, Ouiga boards. etc.

The definition of a warrior is-a brave soldier or fighter.

Now that we have established the difference between the two, a witch and a warrior , it should already be  coming clear why so many Christians live a defeated life. It’s because they don’t want to face their enemies. Most want God, and Jesus to do all the warfare,and all they do is pray. However, until you face your enemies on a regular basis they will always follow you around harassing you, blocking you, and oppressing you from advancing in life and the kingdom of God!

Furthermore, there are a lot of witches in the church today who may not practice Black-magic, Voodo, and have Seances, but many are into Fortune telling, Horoscopes, Palm reading, and Psychic hotlines. Here’s an example in the bible of believers who were operating as witches in the early church.  (Acts 19:18-20) “Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. A number who had practiced sorcery  brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. ”

Likewise, here is what the word of God says regarding those who do such things,  (Deuteronomy 18: 9-14)” When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you , you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who tells fortunes, or practice divination(for telling future events) or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, casts spells, who is a medium, a spirtist or consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.

Now with out any further adoo, let’s address the fact that there are a lot of the apps on Facebook that is doing just that. Through ignorance, many Christians  sign up and take these aging tests that tells how they will look in so many years, when they will have children, when they will get married and so on. This is divination in every sense of the word.  (Deuteronomy 18:19 )says, God will personally deal with a person that does not listen to the message of the prophet on his behalf.

Therefore, I warn any of you who may be reading this article to be prudent, and repent of all of the fortune telling, and divination you partake in by taking those (online tests). It’s a subtle curse because you are ignorant of the Word of God or in outright rebellion.

Last, if you’re a believer it is high time you stop sitting on the side line passively praying, and pick up your sword and fight. Wage warfare in the spirit, and “endure hardness as a good soldier of the Lord Jesus (2 Timothy 2:3-5).” Now that you have been enlightened between the two, no longer operate as a witch, become a warrior!
